Intake Therapist (Outpatient)

Responsibilities
Full-Time: Mon - Fri. 9:00am - 5:00pm , may be assigned to cover IOP groups when needed; some schedule flexibility required
Provide intake for patients and referral sources
Provide clinical assessment and determination of ongoing clinical needs
Provide telephonic risk assessment and in-person clinical assessment
Determine appropriate level of care by providing DSM V diagnosis and consulting with the hospital psychiatrist to determine disposition
Facilitate the admission process and provide appropriate clinical information for ongoing treatment
As needed, assist outpatient therapists with delivery of group sessions
Complete psycho-social assessments, treatment plans, discharge plans, and other clinical duties
Qualifications
Master\'s degree in social work or mental health counseling
REQUIRED
Unrestricted and valid Utah license
REQUIRED (CSW, ACMHC, LCSW, LCHMC)
Minimum 2 years\' post-graduate related experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment required
Experience in outpatient (IOP) or partial hospitalization (PHP) settings preferred
Familiarity with managed health care processes, medical terminology, case management, discharge planning, and/or utilization review preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age or older and able to pass thorough background check and drug screen
