Professional Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $98,000. Global salary range may vary depending on qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Additional compensation may include commissions or bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
In this role, you will be part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You’ll partner with a leading pharmaceutical company, one of Syneos Health’s long‑term clients.
Responsibilities
Proactively demonstrate and promote client products to targeted and non‑targeted physicians and healthcare professionals in the territory and develop a territory business plan to influence prescribing decisions.
Develop and maintain relationships with influential customers in the territory to enhance company and product loyalty and build the client’s brands.
Utilize a defined selling model to obtain maximum commitment from customers on every call to impact positive territory engagement results.
Leverage understanding of clinical studies and managed care to consult, influence and maintain customer relationships. Customize discussions with physicians based on their needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, medical diagnostic sales, or business‑to‑business sales.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary, including overnight and/or weekends.
Must live within the territory or its boundaries.
Desired Requirements
Experience in the disease state of respiratory, immunology, diabetes, or other relevant areas.
Documented history and proven track record of sales success.
