Nurse Practitioner needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s primary care client located in Vienna, VA.
Schedule : Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Duration : 05/04–06/30 with possible extension or direct placement
Pay : $65–75 per hour DOE
What You’ll Be Doing
Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
Records physical findings, formulates a plan and prognosis based on patient’s condition, and provides written home‑going instructions.
Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans as necessary.
Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Maintains medical records using Epic.
Educates and coaches nursing staff on best nursing practices.
May require other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Bring to the Table
All nurse practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
Master’s degree in science of nursing
BLS certification upon hire
Strong phlebotomy skills
Recent experience with Epic
At least 3 years of clinical experience as an NP or PA in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department settings; Women’s Health experience required
