We are seeking a billing clerk/office clerk to become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities
Input billing information into database and send claims to insurance companies
Correct and follow up on the EOBs
Call insurance companies regarding denials and unpaid claims
Make schedules for the drivers and accept rides
Answer phone calls as needed
Perform all other office tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Previous experience in billing for nonemergency medical transportation
Knowledge of CPT codes and ICD coding
Experience in data entry
Knowledge of standard accounting procedures and quickbooks
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Great organizational skills with great attention to details
Willingness to work as a team
