Overview
Position Summary
Prose is looking for a Manager, Brand Partnerships & Advocacy to build and grow the brand’s external presence through strategic brand partnerships, co-marketing collaborations, and a curated network of micro and mid-tier creators. This role is primarily focused on identifying and developing high-impact partnerships that expand Prose’s reach and drive brand awareness with new audiences, while supporting those partnerships with an authentic layer of creator advocacy. This role will partner closely with Brand, Growth, Social, PR, and Retention teams to ensure partnership efforts deepen brand affinity and support long-term business growth.
The ideal candidate is a deal-maker and relationship-builder with a strong commercial instinct; someone who can build and close a partnership pipeline, negotiate contracts, and identify the right external brand and creator voices to amplify Prose. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a consumer brand in beauty, wellness, tech or lifestyle and is energized by outbound relationship-building, partnership development, and finding external collaborators who expand what the brand can do.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and manage a strategic pipeline of brand partnerships and co-marketing collaborations, evaluating fit based on audience alignment, brand values, and awareness potential
Negotiate and manage brand partnership contracts, budgets, and deliverables from initiation through execution
Build and manage a curated network of micro and mid-tier creators whose audiences and values align with Prose — as a supporting layer to the brand partnership program
Develop clear criteria and a scalable process for identifying, onboarding, and nurturing external creator and brand partners leveraging tools and AI sources
Plan, manage, and execute brand events and activations end-to-end, from partnership-driven co-branded experiences and industry moments to intimate creator-facing gatherings, all while owning ideation through logistics and post-event reporting
Partner with Brand, PR, and Social teams to amplify partnership activity and creator content across owned and earned channels
Leverage internal tools such as CreatorIQ, Nectar Social, etc. to track, analyze, and report on the performance of partnerships and creator programs, translating data into actionable growth insights
Manage event and partnership budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics with precision and attention to detail
Serve as a brand ambassador externally, representing Prose at industry events and in partner conversations
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in brand partnerships, influencer management/partnerships, or experiential marketing, ideally at a consumer brand
Experience in beauty, wellness, personal care, or a premium DTC/subscription brand strongly preferred
Proven ability to build and manage a brand partnership pipeline, from prospecting and outreach through negotiation and execution
Experience working with micro and mid-tier creators as a supporting function within a broader partnerships strategy
Experience planning and executing brand events and experiences from concept through completion
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with experience handling partner contracts and budgets
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple work-streams, relationships, and deadlines simultaneously
Data informed approach to measuring partnership performance, awareness growth, and creator program effectiveness
Experience/ability to leverage AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT in order to inform strategies
Passion for hair, beauty, or wellness and a genuine enthusiasm for building brand partnerships
