A well-established and highly respected family law practice in Las Vegas is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The practice offers a supportive yet fast-paced environment where attorneys are trusted with meaningful responsibility and client engagement.
About the Role
This position offers hands‑on experience across a broad range of family law matters, with direct involvement in both litigation and settlement-focused work. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys on complex and emotionally significant cases.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, annulments, custody, visitation, child support, property and debt division, and spousal support
Handle paternity, guardianship, adoption, and grandparent visitation matters
Negotiate and draft premarital and postnuptial agreements
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Assist with trial preparation and attend court appearances
Participate in hearings, discovery, and case strategy development
Maintain strong client communication throughout all stages of representation
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of family law experience
Admitted to the Nevada Bar (required)
Required Skills
Strong family law experience
Excellent legal writing and drafting skills, with attention to detail
Strong courtroom and advocacy skills or demonstrated exposure to hearings and motions practice
Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strong interpersonal and client‑facing skills, with a compassionate and professional approach
Excellent research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive family matters
Be able to hit the ground running
