We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Napa, CA. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with as little as 6 months may be considered.
As a PT, you will be responsible for evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
Responsibilities
Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines in that facility
Understand and comply with the PT Board’s rules and regulations in the state
Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care
Understand adaptive equipment
Evaluate and create a plan of care
Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition
Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred); new grads encouraged
State‑specific licensing and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Additional certifications may be required before assignment
