Responsibilities
The

Outpatient Therapist

assists residents in meeting their psychosocial needs through various treatment modalities such as group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, case management and education. The outpatient program therapist coordinates treatment services and works with the multidisciplinary treatment team to drive the direction of the individual resident’s treatment goals and interventions. The outpatient program therapist is the liaison between outside referral sources/guardians and facilitates after‑care placement and treatment services.

Qualifications

Education:

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology required.

Experience:

Two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility, preferred, with direct experience in family and group therapies and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Adolescent drug‑addiction experience highly desired.

Additional Requirements:

LCSW, LMFT or LMHC licensure in the state of Florida.
