
Spa Front Desk / Reception

About the Role
Provide positive interactions between spa guests and service personnel. Perform clerical duties, handle cash transactions, understand treatments, book appointments, and assist guests with locker room needs. Maintain cleanliness and stock amenities. Excellent organizational skills required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet guests and direct them to the appropriate area. Oversea reception area and assist guests with appointments to spa personnel.
Keep the waiting area stocked with brochures and necessary forms.
Provide general information and answer customer questions about spa services and policies.
Answer the telephone, direct calls, and relay messages to spa personnel or guests. Follow up on minor customer issues.
Perform typing and secretarial duties for spa personnel as needed.
Set up and maintain necessary files.
Maintain general and employee bulletin boards.
Follow established cash handling procedures for monetary transactions (cash banks, checks, cash, credit cards, etc.) as outlined in the company policies and procedures manual.
Skills, Abilities, Requirements
Typing speed of 35 wpm and computer skills required.
Ability to stand for the entire shift.
Pleasant disposition and professional appearance to positively represent the spa.
Good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills; proficient in cash handling and appointment scheduling; ability to multitask.
Hepatitis A vaccination required.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of computer experience is beneficial.
