We are conducting a confidential search for a
Mechanical / Piping Designer
to support industrial projects based out of
Birmingham, Alabama . This role will focus on piping layouts, equipment arrangement, and drawing package development for heavy industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare
piping layouts, isometrics, equipment arrangements, and design packages
Develop and revise drawings based on engineering input and field conditions
Support piping routing, tie-ins, and multidisciplinary coordination
Assist with drawing production and model updates
Help develop construction-ready documentation
Qualifications
5–20 years of mechanical and/or piping design experience
Industrial design experience preferred
Proficiency with
Autodesk Plant 3D
or similar design software
Strong understanding of piping layouts and industrial drawing packages
Ability to support fast-paced project environments
