Residential Program Therapist (Pasadena, Arcadia)
Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking therapists, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six‑bed houses in the Pasadena and the Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area.
The Reasons Program Therapist performs functions including providing individual, family and group therapy to residents with a primary eating disorder diagnosis. The successful candidate will function as part of a treatment team, delivering high‑quality care alongside the psychiatrist, Registered Dietitian, medical staff and dedicated support service staff in a milieu environment.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Residential Program Therapist include:
Providing individual, family, and group therapy to residents with a primary eating disorder diagnosis
Participating in treatment team meetings and collaborating with psychiatrists, dietitians, medical staff, and support staff
Delivering high‑quality, empathic care in a milieu setting
Qualifications
Requirements:
Master's Degree required from an accredited college or university, in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or a related mental health field preferred.
Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; and strong clinical assessment skills, preferred. Those with experience in the eating disorder field are highly encouraged to apply. In lieu of experience specialized education and training may be acceptable.
We will provide training for caring, compassionate and interested hires. IAEDP-approved supervision is available for those pursuing their Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credentials.
May be required to work Saturdays.
