Minimum Requirements
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Active Georgia SLP license required to start the assignment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC).
Minimum of 15–18 months of recent acute care SLP experience required.
Experience supporting acute care patients across medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU and stroke
eurologic populations preferred.
Proficiency with MBS/FEES is a plus but not required.
Assignment Details
Facility Type: Hospital.
Shift Name: Days.
Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (varies).
Shift Pattern: 5x8.
Weekend Requirement: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks; preferred 4 weekends per 4 weeks.
Required Certifications: BLS.
Floating: Candidate may be required to float within the hospital system as needed.
Experience Requirement: Minimum 15–18 months recent experience within specialty.
