Responsibilities
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Perform MIG welding on a daily basis, TIG welding occasionally.
Set up, run, and modify robotic weld programs.
Operate a robot welder on a multitude of parts.
Review blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes.
Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, tape measures, and rulers.
Weld separately or in combination, using steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
Install holes, slots, and notches as required.
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Physical Demands
Wear proper PPE for the job.
Standing long periods of time.
Able to lift 30 lbs minimum.
20/20 vision with correction.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, or GED.
3 plus years of welding experience.
Robotic welder experience desired but not required.
Working knowledge of a Windows based PC.
Must possess mechanical aptitude.
Desire to produce high quality work.
Must be able to pass Drug Screening.
Ability to work overtime if needed.
