Front Desk Coordinator
Interstate Therapy Solutions (part of the Confluent Health family) is seeking a reliable individual to join our team as a Front Desk Coordinator in Canyon County!
In this role, you will support both patients and clinical staff by managing front office operations in a fast-paced outpatient physical therapy setting. Responsibilities include assisting patients in person and over the phone, coordinating and organizing appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure a smooth and efficient clinic experience while supporting high-quality patient care.
Schedule: M-F 9:30am-6pm
Pay Rate: $21-$26/Hour BOE
Required: Prior front office experience in a physical therapy clinic or similar outpatient healthcare setting
Preferred: Experience working within a hospital-based or hospital-affiliated provider environment

Responsibilities
You'll Achieve Success By:
Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while delivering exceptional customer service
Verify insurance, process authorizations, and collect payments to ensure smooth billing and patient access to care
Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documents
Answer phone calls, assist patients, and uphold HIPAA compliance, ensuring a welcoming and professional healthcare experience
Qualifications
One year experience in healthcare physical therapy department is desirable but not required
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis
Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications
Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
Working knowledge of healthcare in a therapy department preferred
Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred
