Medical Front Desk Specialist
A busy medical clinic is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to support daily patient operations. This role is responsible for managing front office activities including patient check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and handling incoming calls.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a moderate to high-volume environment.

Pay Rate: $20 / Hour
Schedule: Monday
Friday, 8:00 AM
5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Openings: 1
Start Date: ASAP (pending completion of onboarding requirements)
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient check-in and check-out
Collect and process patient payments
Answer and manage incoming phone calls
Verify insurance information and patient details
Maintain accurate patient records in the system
Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
Support front office operations as needed
Required Qualifications:
Experience in a medical front office or administrative role
Familiarity with insurance verification processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle a high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in retina or ophthalmology
Experience with AdvancedMD or similar EMR systems
Work Environment:
Fully onsite role in a medical clinic
Team-oriented environment with hands-on training
Scrubs required
