Jr. Executive Assistant & Project Coordinator

CSEngineering is looking to add a Junior Executive Assistant & Project Coordinator to our growing team! This position will directly support executive leadership and corporate operations.
The Junior Executive Assistant & Project Coordinator serves as the CEO's right hand and a strategic force multiplier within a fast-paced government contracting (GovCon) environment. This role is responsible for translating executive vision into actionable tasks, ensuring leadership priorities are executed, and maintaining efficient operations of the executive office while handling highly confidential corporate and government-sensitive information.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly support the CEO in day-to-day operations, ensuring priorities are managed and executed efficiently.
Act as a gatekeeper for the CEO by managing complex calendars, prioritizing meetings, and protecting executive time.
Attend leadership meetings with the CEO, capture key decisions and action items, and drive follow-ups to completion.
Translate CEO directives into actionable tasks and track progress across departments.
Track high-priority executive initiatives and projects from initiation through completion.
Prepare executive-level briefings, presentations, reports, and communications on behalf of the CEO.
Draft and manage sensitive communications, representing the CEO's voice with professionalism.
Serve as the primary liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication.
Support business development and marketing efforts, including proposal formatting and executive presentations.
Maintain organized documentation, executive trackers, and communication logs.
Coordinate meetings, travel (if needed), and logistics for executive leadership.
Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive corporate or government information.
Support additional executive and corporate priorities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year directly supporting a CEO, C-suite, or VP-level executive.
Experience in a government contracting (GovCon) environment preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing executive priorities.
Proven ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent executive leadership.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, "finisher" mindset.
Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting a CEO or senior executive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with proposal development or business development support.
Strong ability to synthesize complex discussions into executive summaries and action plans.
