Legal Billing Specialist
Compensation: $80,000.00-$100,000.00
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Billing Specialist for a top firm in Downtown Los Angeles. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the collaboration of in-office days. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal billing and a working knowledge of Aderant software.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with firm and client guidelines
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate and timely billing
Handle e-billing submissions and resolve any billing discrepancies
Maintain billing records and respond to client inquiries regarding invoices
Generate reports and assist with month-end billing processes
Ensure compliance with client billing requirements and firm policies
Qualifications
3+ years of legal billing experience, preferably in a law firm environment
Experience with Aderant software is highly preferred
Familiarity with e-billing platforms and client billing portals
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
