Inventory Control Outbound Associate

About the Role: Partners Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Outbound Associate to join our client's dynamic warehouse team in Columbus. This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy and efficiency across outbound operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies encountered during picking, packing, and shipping processes, including overages, shortages, and damages.
Utilize internal systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and quality control logs to review and document errors accurately.
Assign responsibility for discrepancies and determine appropriate resolution methods, such as inventory adjustments, item rework, redirection, or disposal.
Collaborate closely with Inventory Control, Outbound, and Customer Service teams to correct inaccuracies and communicate discrepancies effectively.
Support customer pickup orders by ensuring inventory accuracy and timely problem resolution.
Maintain detailed logs of inventory errors and identify recurring trends to proactively prevent future issues.
Assist with repackaging salvageable items, ensuring proper labeling and storage for quality control hold or damaged products.
Adhere to all safety protocols and performance standards within a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Qualifications:
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with inventory control processes and systems is highly preferred.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable navigating technology platforms such as WMS and ERP systems.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with various departments.
Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
