Grinder Operator
As a Grinder Operator, you will be responsible for operating Grinding/Milling machines. Your duties will include loading and unloading parts, inspecting parts, preparing and changing wheels, and performing preventive maintenance and minor adjustments on assigned equipment. Additionally, you will operate grinders, micrometers, gauges, and various power tools, along with some computer operations.
Responsibilities
Perform operations on Grinding/Milling machines.
Load and unload parts.
Inspect parts for quality assurance.
Prepare and change grinding wheels.
Clean and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
Operate grinders, micrometers, gauges, and various power tools.
Conduct minor maintenance on machines.
Run and maintain the function of 2+ machines in a cell.
Essential Skills
1-5 years of experience in conventional machining such as grinding, milling, drilling, and turning.
Proficiency in operating grinders and various power tools.
Experience with machine operations and surface grinding.
Familiarity with using blueprints and calipers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous relevant machining experience or education/training in machining is preferred.
2+ years of experience in machining is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
