Accounts Payable Specialist
Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Scottsdale, AZ Duration: Contract with a slight potential to go long term. Compensation: $24 to $27 per hour Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm (some flexibility)
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract opportunity with a growing construction and renewable energy organization in Scottsdale. This role is ideal for someone with at least three years of accounts payable experience who can step in quickly and thrive in a high volume, fast paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong NetSuite experience and enjoys solving problems, maintaining accuracy, and supporting multi entity operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process high volume invoices with accuracy and efficiency
Reconcile vendor statements and accounts
Support payment processing and ensure timely disbursements
Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports
Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries
Review and process employee expenses
Support accounts payable across multiple entities
Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
Assist with audit readiness, compliance, and internal controls
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience
NetSuite experience required
Able to handle high volume data entry with strong attention to detail
Comfortable jumping in and contributing with minimal ramp up time
Experience with multi entity environments preferred
Lien waiver experience is a plus
Strong problem solving and follow up skills
