Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Machine Operator III to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of production processes during overnight hours. Key responsibilities include:
Operating industrial machinery safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
Conducting thorough inspections of materials and finished products to identify and rectify quality issues promptly, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Using a tape measure with up to 1/16" accuracy to ensure precise measurements and quality control.
Performing basic math calculations accurately to support various operational tasks.
Utilizing basic computer skills to input data, update production records, and follow electronic work instructions.
Learning and applying new job-related tasks through training and on-the-job experience, continuously enhancing your skills.
Monitoring equipment and process performance, making adjustments as needed to optimize productivity.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating manufacturing or industrial machinery preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Ability to read and interpret measurement tools and technical documentation.
Strong communication and active listening skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds consistently.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts, with availability for up to six days a week, including mandatory overtime.
