Bachelors degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Anticipated assignment runs from late August to mid-June, with exact caseload details determined based on current district needs and your professional preferences, which will be discussed during the interview process. For success in this role, the following credentials and skills are sought: Qualifications:Valid SLPA licensure in accordance with Rhode Island state requirements.Previous experience supporting students within school settings is highly valued.Proficiency developing and implementing targeted speech-language activities under SLP supervision.Excellent interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with fellow educators, SLPs, and families.Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse student populations and varying needs. Responsibilities:Support the execution of IEP goals by providing direct intervention services under a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist’s supervision.Collect and document data on student progress, maintaining accurate records in line with district standards.Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions.Participate in team meetings and collaborate with school staff to enhance student support
