About Our Family
We are a busy, professional family of five, balancing demanding careers with the joy and chaos of raising three kids. Our children, ages 9, 8, and 4, bring plenty of energy and excitement to our home. With both parents in the medical field and varying levels of flexibility in their schedules, our household requires careful coordination to keep everything running smoothly.
Our goal in bringing on a house manager is to create space in our lives to focus on quality family time and the growing interests of our children, while reducing the constant mental load of home management. We value structure, cleanliness, and order, but also understand the importance of having flexibility and time for each other. Our ideal candidate would help us maintain that balanceensuring the home runs smoothly while allowing us to spend more time connecting as a family and focusing on our work.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
We are seeking a long-term partner to help manage the many moving parts of our household. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a natural ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently. You take pride in maintaining a clean and well-organized home, but you also understand the ebb and flow of family life, knowing when to step in and when to give space.
You should be comfortable with children and flexible enough to step in when neededwhether it's on days when school is closed or when a child is home sick. We are looking for someone who can quickly learn the rhythms of our home, anticipate our needs, and alleviate our mental load by managing tasks before they become overwhelming.
You will work independently but also collaborate with the parents and other household employees, such as our summer nanny. Above all, you value mutual respect and open communication. You are confident in navigating difficult conversations and have the maturity to approach us when challenges arise.
You are someone who thrives in a structured environment, has a strong attention to detail, and takes satisfaction in making sure everything runs smoothly. If you are someone who enjoys working with a family that values trust, efficiency, and long-term relationships, we would love to hear from you.

Prepare ingredients in advance for family dinners (e.g. cleaning and chopping vegetables, thawing/browning meat)
Process produce (wash and cut) and restock shelf-stable items for kids' lunches and snacks
Follow dietary needs (youngest child has peanut, pistachio, and cashew allergy) and family preferences for balanced meals and organic fruits/vegetables when available
Clean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidiness
