Extrusion Operator (2nd or 3rd Shift)

We are seeking dedicated 2nd and 3rd shift Extrusion Machine Operators to join our team. This role involves operating advanced extrusion machinery, performing setups and changeovers, and ensuring quality control of film production. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible after interviewing and completing onboarding. Apply today!
Responsibilities:
Perform setups and changeovers on extrusion machines.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
Read and follow work instructions accurately.
Operate tow motor and pallet equipment.
Assist in laboratory testing of finished products.
Conduct data lab work and train on equipment.
Use measuring tools such as drop gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
Test finished products for surface toughness.
Conduct quality checks on films, raw materials, and finished goods.
Enter data results into Excel for documentation.
Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain safety awareness around hot equipment.
Clean machinery and maintain a tidy workspace.
Perform basic mathematical calculations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garfield Heights, OH.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
