Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation

The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide general office support for our Litigation & Disputes attorneys and paralegals. This will include maintaining and organizing files, managing appointments and calendaring deadlines, proofreading and formatting documents, and utilizing case management software to keep cases organized. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with 2+ years of litigation administrative experience and a drive to succeed.
Assist attorneys in organizing and managing case files, including maintaining document databases and electronic records.
E-filing in federal, state and local courts.
Proofread and format legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories, files motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
Maintain calendars for attorneys and paralegals, including scheduling appointments and calendaring all relevant deadlines.
Process invoices, reimbursements, check requests, and conflict checks as needed.
Prepare engagement letters, memos and other relevant documentation.
Communicate directly with clients via email and/or phone.
Record attorney time in iTimekeep system.
Answer incoming calls and route as appropriate.
Minimum of high school diploma required.
2+ years of litigation administrative experience required.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Project and case management skills, including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
