Data Processing - LHS
Holds primary responsibility for student data management and assisting in the Student Services department at the high school.
Reports to: Assistant Principal for Student Services
Employee Status: Educational Support Professional ESP Bargaining Union
Calendar: Twelve-Month Employee, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Qualifications: Education and experience equivalent to high school graduation
Professional/Personal Characteristics:
Previous experience in an educational setting preferred
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently under varying deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to identify sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Proficient with Google Workspace, office and phone equipment
Evidence of data and systems management
Prior use of PowerSchool and state information system preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Support and coordinate all mailings and digital communication in the data processing office
Submit accurate state reports to ISBE/SIS by state deadlines
Submit & organize monthly/yearly attendance reports
Support all processes associated with articulation and master schedule building
Be an integral member of the data processing team. Support and lead processes related to PowerSchool, data management, student records/grades, test scores and data requests
Support transfer students' entry and exit in PS and SIS
Support student registration preparation, communication, and all related processes
Support all responsibilities and processes of LHS or VHHS counterpart and communicate regularly with LHS or VHHS team
Support summer school registration processes
Assist administrators with various duties as assigned
