MB Strip Line Operator
Safely and efficiently operate the inline and contour edge banders, while properly handling materials and products, meeting production goals, maintaining quality standards, and team objectives.
Starts up and shuts down the machine at the beginning and end of the shift.
Loads the proper color banding into the machine.
Inspects the parts to make sure they conform to quality specifications.
Stacks shelves on pallet and properly band for transport.
Delivers special parts to the specials line.
Performs maintenance to machine as needed.
Cleans area at end of shift and as needed throughout the day.
Removes excess edge banding material.
Wipes parts to remove any glue residue.
Completes hour by hour boards daily.
Completes TPM boards daily/weekly.
Contacts lead person or supervisor if problems occur.
Maintains 5S in area.
Regular attendance is required.
