Schedule: Monday Friday, 4:00 AM until finish; overtime as needed
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Casting Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced casting environment. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of casting shop personnel
Ensure efficient setup and operation of casting equipment
Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines
Maintain quality control standards and troubleshoot casting defects
Train and mentor team members on safety protocols and operational procedures
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Enforce safety regulations and ensure a clean, organized work environment
Track production metrics and report performance to management
Qualifications:
Prior experience in casting or manufacturing supervision
Strong understanding of casting processes and equipment
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work early morning shifts and flexible hours as needed
