Job Title: Diagnostic Shop Supervisor Location: South Houston, TX Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Position Overview: We are seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Diagnostic Shop Supervisor to lead operations in a diagnostic imaging shop. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or general construction, and a talent for guiding teams and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and ensure timely completion of diagnostic components
Provide leadership and coaching to shop personnel
Read and interpret work orders for accurate assembly and packaging
Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor shop equipment and arrange routine maintenance
Manage inventory of tools, parts, and materials
Conduct product inspections for quality assurance
Track production, maintenance, and safety metrics
Collaborate in team meetings to drive shop performance
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
Prior experience supervising in a manufacturing or diagnostic shop setting
Strong fabrication or carpentry skills preferred
Forklift operation experience or certification is beneficial
Solid communication and organizational skills
Ability to lift, bend, and remain standing for long periods
Safety-minded with attention to detail
Compensation: $30$35 per hour, depending on experience
