Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule for the 2026-27 school year, delivering care to students in a supportive educational environment located just 20 minutes south of Atlanta, GA. Youll collaborate with educators and families, contribute to student success, and experience the rewards of working with a diverse pediatric caseload. Key Qualifications:Hold an active GA Physical Therapy license Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Expertise in providing therapy to a range of student ages and needs Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt therapy plans to a variety of developmental stages
Primary Responsibilities:Assess and develop individual and group physical therapy programs for students from PreK through high school Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations Maintain accurate records and progress notes in line with school and state standards Educate and work closely with educators and support staff to support student growth Foster active participation and inclusion within the classroom setting Adapt to a dynamic school environment while delivering compassionate, student-centered care
