Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in young lives while collaborating with a knowledgeable school team just 20 minutes south of Atlanta, GA. Ideal candidates will bring a solid background in pediatric or school-based settings and hold an active GA Physical Therapy license. Youll work a consistent, full-time schedule of 40 hours each week, providing vital therapy services to help students achieve optimal outcomes in both academic and functional settings. Qualifications: Active Georgia Physical Therapy license required Experience in pediatric and/or school-based environments strongly preferred Comfortable supporting a full caseload across PreK-high school ages Strong communication skills and approachable demeanor Ability to develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans Commitment to collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities: Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services for students with a wide range of needs Assess fine and gross motor skills and recommend interventions Develop, document, and update IEP goals, tracking student progress Participate in team meetings, contributing to student care plans Educate school staff and families regarding therapeutic strategies Adapt services as necessary for various grade levels and needs Benefits: Consistent, 40-hour work weeks Opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a supportive educational setting Contract placement allows full immersion in the school community Bring your passion for supporting student growth to this fulfilling role.
