Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract speech-language pathologist, clinical fellow, or assistant is sought to provide dedicated maternity leave coverage from early September through December. This engaging role offers flexible scheduling, whether you prefer five half-days, a combination of full and half days, or another arrangement within the district’s supportive structure. Key Qualifications:Hold current Minnesota licensure for SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or SLPA.Experience in K-12 school settings is highly valued.Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy and teamwork.New graduates and clinical fellows are encouraged to apply—district supervision is provided. Role Highlights:Deliver speech and language therapy services to middle school students as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.Complete assessments, develop/implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress.Engage with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.Adapt service delivery based on students’ needs and current educational best practices.Maintain accurate records and compliance with state/district requirements. This contract assignment offers approximately 18 hours per week, with a supportive administration and flexibility to fit your availability.
