Qualifications and Desired Experience:Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Rhode Island (active status required)Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)Previous experience in school environments preferredStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsPassion for supporting diverse learners and advocating for student success Key Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver individualized or group speech therapy servicesCollaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop strategies to support student progress in speech, language, and communicationDocument ongoing progress, maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, and participate in IEP meetingsAdapt interventions as needed to address a range of needsUtilize evidence-based practices to drive positive student outcomes Caseloads and specific school assignments will be determined according to district needs and your experience, with details clarified during the interview process. Positions are exclusively in-person for the 2026–2027 academic year, aligning with the school calendar.
