Overview
We are seeking an Electronics Test & Production Support Engineer to support troubleshooting, test execution, and hardware investigation activities for complex electronic assemblies and mixedsignal systems. This role is handson, labfocused, and will work closely with crossfunctional engineering, operations, and quality teams to identify root causes, resolve production issues, and improve system yield and reliability.
This position is ideal for an engineer experienced in debugging CCAs, analyzing failures, and supporting manufacturing and test processes in fastpaced development and production environments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering
or a closely related field
Minimum
3+ years
of relevant professional engineering experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
Digital, analog, RF, or mixedsignal testing and/or debugging
Complex circuit card assemblies (CCAs)
Electromechanical systems
Handson experience with
RootCause Corrective Action (RCCA)
investigations
Proven experience supporting
manufacturing and electronic test environments
Proficiency operating lab equipment such as:
Oscilloscopes
Logic analyzers
Function generators
Power supplies
Other standard diagnostic tools
Ability to interpret
schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
Desired Qualifications
Experience supporting production in a large defense or aerospace environment
Electrical engineering experience with CCAs, EO/IR, RF, seeker/sensor, or other electronic subsystems
Experience in:
Circuit design
CCA assembly
Electrical test
Test automation scripting
Sensor control
PCB fabrication
CCA processes and relevant industry specifications
Familiarity with design and analysis tools such as:
Mentor Graphics Designer
PSPICE / SystemVision
MATLAB / Mathcad / IDL
CST, HFSS, ADS
Signal generators, oscilloscopes, RF analyzers
Experience with subsystem integration & test, and posttest data analysis
Experience investigating issues, performing SPC analyses, and improving production yields
Strong technical writing and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and within small, focused technical teams
Experience providing:
Technical oversight
Cost estimation
Task tracking & reporting
Coordination across functions
Detailed engineering reports
Proposal support
Work Environment
