
IT Support Specialist II

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist II to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on providing direct, hands-on support to users in the Huntsville office.
This role serves as the primary IT support presence on site, responsible for resolving technical issues, supporting daily operations, and ensuring a high level of customer service. **Responsibilities**
+ Provide on-site support for laptops and desktops running Windows 11
+ Serve as the primary IT point of contact for the Huntsville office
+ Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
+ Manage user accounts and access using Active Directory
+ Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including laptops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals
+ Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
+ Support VPN connectivity using GlobalProtect
+ Manage and resolve service desk tickets while meeting SLA requirements
+ Provide conference room and meeting support, including Teams and AV systems
+ Install and troubleshoot printers and shared devices
+ Assist with device deployment, setup, and relocation for on-site users
+ Maintain accurate documentation and updates within tickets
+ Coordinate with other IT teams for escalations when needed
+ Maintain strong on-site presence to support urgent and day to day technical needs
**Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of experience in end user support in a Windows environment
+ Strong experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
+ Proven ability to manage a high volume of tickets with accuracy and minimal errors
+ Strong customer service and communication skills
+ Experience providing hands-on, in person IT support
+ Solid understanding of:
+ Active Directory
+ TCP/IP networking
+ VPN connectivity
+ Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
