Essential Job Duties and Accountabilities
Position Summary
The Aesthetic Director is responsible for
owning the growth, performance, and scalability of the aesthetics business line
across the organization. This role blends
strategy, field execution, provider development, and operational discipline
to drive revenue expansion and elevate the patient experience.
This leader will act as a
business owner of aesthetics , accountable for financial outcomes, provider productivity, and market growth.
Key Responsibilities
Meet and exceed established
growth and performance objectives
for the aesthetics business
Develop and execute
strategic business plans
to achieve financial targets
Build and deliver
office-level forecasts, business plans, and revenue goals
in partnership with Operations
Regularly report performance and implement
action plans to address underperformance
Own key metrics including
revenue growth, provider productivity, and service mix optimization
Field Execution & Operational Leadership
Partner with
office-based and regional teams
to execute business plans and drive aesthetic goal achievement
Ensure alignment of
field activity, administrative responsibilities, and time allocation
to maximize productivity
Coordinate
field time vs. administrative demands
to ensure high-impact execution
Standardize workflows and best practices
Talent Acquisition, Development & Performance
Lead
recruitment and selection
of high-performing aesthetic providers and team members
Coach, counsel, and develop team members to
expand aesthetic services and product demand
Conduct regular
co-travel field visits
to assess performance and deliver real-time coaching
Build a high-performance culture focused on
accountability, productivity, and patient outcomes
Training, Education & Demand Generation
Develop and coordinate
aesthetician ,
physician and provider training programs
Lead
practice enhancement initiatives , including workflow optimization and service expansion
Plan and execute
events, training, and demand-generation activities
to grow aesthetic services
Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent
clinical quality and service delivery
Consultative Leadership & Market Development
Leverage strong
consultative skills
to influence providers and stakeholders
Drive expansion of
aesthetic service adoption and overall book of business
Build and maintain effective relationships with
internal teams and external partners
Marketing & Brand Alignment
Partner with marketing to drive
patient acquisition + retention strategies
Guide positioning of the aesthetic brand (premium vs accessible, etc.)
Operations & Scalability
Standardize workflows across locations (consults, scheduling, follow-ups)
Optimize
capacity utilization and provider scheduling models
Drive operational efficiencies to improve
EBITDA margins
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor and report on:
Revenue per treatment / provider
Conversion rates (consult → treatment)
Utilization rates (rooms, devices, staff)
Patient retention + lifetime value
Use data to continuously refine strategy
Qualifications Required
7–10+ years in
aesthetic medicine, dermatology, med spa, or plastic surgery environment
Strong understanding of:
Injectables (Botox, fillers)
Energy-based devices (laser, RF, body contouring)
Skincare retail
Proven
supervisory and team development experience
in a multi-site or field-based environment
Demonstrated ability to
interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Strong
consultative sales and business development skills , with a track record of revenue growth
Experience in
aesthetics, dermatology, medical devices, or healthcare services
preferred
Ability to balance
strategic planning with hands-on execution
Preferred
Experience in
private equity-backed or high-growth platforms
Background in
operations, consulting, or multi-unit leadership
Clinical background (RN, NP, PA) nice to have, not required
