Director of Nursing Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and resident-centered care
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop and implement strategic plans and goals, aligning with the company's mission and vision
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of the nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching to enhance performance and growth
Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal financial performance
Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, including administration, marketing, and operations
Director of Nursing Requirements
Experience in an assisted living or long‑term care setting, with a nursing leadership role
Current and good standing Registered Nurse (RN) license and active certification in the state of Missouri
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
