Duty Drawback Analyst (Direct Hire)

Base Salary: $100,000-140,000+ (DOE)

Our client is seeking a
seasoned Duty Drawback Analyst
to join their Houston, TX office. This is a high-impact, direct hire opportunity for an experienced professional with strong drawback filing expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Compile, analyze, and verify import/export data from multiple sources.
Review and validate documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
Perform
duty drawback filings , including uploads using ABI software (e.g., DutyCalc).
Extract and manipulate data from electronic sources (.xls, .txt, etc.) for reporting and analysis.
Conduct drawback analysis using Excel and drawback accounting systems.
Ensure compliance with
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
drawback regulations.
Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve them.
Develop knowledge of supply chain processes including logistics, planning, and customer master data.
Work independently on assigned drawback activities with minimal supervision.
Support continuous process improvement and data accuracy initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
Proven experience with
duty drawback filing
Hands-on experience with
ABI software (such as DutyCalc)
Strong analytical and data manipulation skills (Excel proficiency required)
Experience working with import/export documentation and compliance standards
Preferred:
Licensed Customs Broker ( LCB ) – highly desired but not required
Background in supply chain, logistics, or trade compliance
