Integrity Trade Services is hiring an
EHS Specialist
for our automotive manufacturing client to start immediately starting at $65k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
Responsibilities:
The
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
supports a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment by leading site-wide EHS programs and initiatives. This role helps ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
Conduct daily plant floor walkthroughs to monitor housekeeping and identify safety concerns.
Develop, coordinate, and deliver EHS-related training for employees.
Manage work-related injuries, including first aid response and clinic authorization.
Investigate accidents and incidents, ensure proper documentation is completed, and follow up on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Report recordable injuries to workers’ compensation and monitor claims through timely resolution.
Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
Document and maintain records related to ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 requirements, including SDS management.
Conduct noise and air monitoring tests using specialized equipment.
Lead and participate in Safety Committee meetings.
Maintain knowledge of company policies, environmental requirements, and applicable regulations.
Support the implementation of environmental programs, policies, and compliance obligations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance.
Experience with accident and incident investigation.
Strong root cause analysis skills.
Familiarity with workers’ compensation and claim management.
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 systems.
Experience with SDS/MSDS management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
Strong relationship management skills with regulators, vendors, customers, and internal teams.
Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Risk-based problem-solving ability.
Data analysis and trend identification skills.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer and math skills sufficient to complete department tasks.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Valid driver’s license required.
The role also involves periodic travel to customer locations as needed.
The employee must be able to use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment, move throughout the plant, and maintain frequent visual concentration.
The role regularly requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other physical activity.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
