Job Summary The Lafayette Catholic School System is seeking dynamic, faith-filled servant leaders who love children and enjoy teaching. We are looking for committed teachers who want to be part of a close, supportive faith community. We are seeking a faithful, energetic, and organized educator who is dedicated to the academic and spiritual development of our students.
Primary Purpose Under the general supervision of the School Principal, a successful candidate will be able to develop students' skills and competence in elementary school music education.

Education/Certification Indiana teaching license to teach the subject or grade for which he/she is applying.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

Able to pass and maintain Diocesan child safety protocols
Special Knowledge/Skills/Attributes Knowledge Understands appropriate use of Learning Management Systems.
Skills Strong written and oral communication abilities.
Ability to organize and coordinate work.
Ability to build parent and student relationships.
Ability to collaborate inside and outside of the department.

Develops and administers music education curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
Develops balanced music program and lessons to organize class time so that students have adequate time for preparation, instruction, and creating music.
