If interested in this Pharmacy Technician position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration Brittney Blackman | bblackman@alinestaffing.com | text 5867107970 PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION: Location: Charlestown IN 47111 – 100% on-site Payrate: $18.95/hr Required Availability: Full-Time | 1st Shift Monday 8:00am-6:30pm Tuesday - Friday 10am-7:30pm Saturday 12:00pm-8:30pm PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in assisting licensed pharmacists to ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while maintaining strict adherence to healthcare regulations. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES: Medication Dispensing: Prepare, measure, count, and package prescription medications according to orders. Production Support: Replenish automated medication cells, which includes opening large quantities of bottles and cases. Quality Control: Ensure all medication containers have accurate labeling and patient instructions; maintain an organized and sterile dispensing area. Inventory Management: Perform regular stock rotation to monitor and prevent medication expiration. Compliance: Maintain 100% HIPAA compliance and adhere to all federal and state pharmacy laws. PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. Licensure: Must hold a valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (National certification also considered). Experience: Previous pharmacy or clinical environment experience is required. High attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Physical Demands: Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
