The Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and industrial construction projects, with a primary focus on warehouse, big‑box, and tilt‑up developments. This role works closely with Project Managers and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Client Details Our client is a well‑established commercial and industrial general contractor with a strong presence throughout New Jersey and the surrounding region. They specialize in large‑scale warehouse, distribution, big‑box retail, and tilt‑up concrete projects and are known for their collaborative culture, repeat clients, and commitment to quality execution. Description Assist Project Managers with day‑to‑day management of commercial and industrial construction projects Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation using Procore Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure alignment Track material procurement and delivery schedules Participate in project meetings and assist with meeting minutes and follow‑ups Monitor project progress and help identify potential risks or schedule impacts Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
