JOB DESCRIPTION
The Material Handler participates in the execution of warehouse operations in an industrial work environment. To successfully perform these tasks, it requires a high level of attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
Essential Functions
Participates in daily cycle counting of parts in the warehouse.
Operates a computer and/or RF scanner to pick and/or putaway material in the Kardex/Modula. Also a manual/electric pallet jack to move around material.
Helps with opening boxes and counting material in the receiving area.
Helps with packaging of shipping goods in small and large pack when needed.
Must be willing to work overtime and alternate shifts determined by changes in workload demand.
Provide support and assistance to other technicians and team members, as directed, and any other duties as assigned by the Cell Leader or Senior Personnel.
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure compliance with the company's rules and policies.
Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules and regulations.

Required Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Required Experience
Sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, etc. Maximum lifting/carrying: 50 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated wage: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. Eligible employees may enroll in group healthcare plans, 401(k) plan, receive 80 hours of vacation leave, 12 paid holidays, 1 floating holiday, and 6 weeks of paid parental leave. Additional benefits are outlined in the employee handbook.
