Regional Operations Manager UCHC SWSP & BSP
University Correctional Health Care (UCHC) is seeking a Regional Operations Manager for its location in Bridgeton, NJ. Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Accreditation, the Regional Operations Manager will implement procedures and workflows to ensure the efficient delivery of logistical and administrative services for UCHC within the DOC facilities. The role will supervise assigned UCHC staff, perform highly skilled administrative tasks including training, staff oversight, and technical assistance, and require an onsite presence.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise the facility operational plan, identify and implement operational enhancements, generate data reports, and procure and distribute supplies.

Ensure facility operations adhere to National Commission on Correctional Healthcare guidelines.

Collaborate with the Quality Improvement/Performance Improvement Team to identify and implement improvements, and participate in performance measurement and assessment.

Collaborate effectively with DOC Administration to ensure patient care needs are met and communicate needs clearly.

Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff; hire, supervise, train, and conduct performance evaluations.

Manage UCHC administrative workflow, communicate relevant information, and conduct meetings to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

Minimum education: Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Engineering, Social Services, Health Care Specialization, Physical Sciences, or a related field, with two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative, managerial, and/or consultative experience; or a Baccalaureate degree with four (4) years of experience.

Outstanding human relations and leadership skills, ability to function in a team environment.

Knowledge of superior performance in a unionized environment.

Valid New Jersey driver’s license and own vehicle for travel between sites.

On‑call duties 24/7.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a government agency, university setting, or large business office.

Salary & Benefits
Grade 25S. Minimum salary $82,856.00; mid‑range salary $104,816.00; maximum salary $126,775.00.
