Production Control Specialist
Location: Greenville, AL
Pay Range: $20.00–$25.00
What's the Job?
Manage and oversee all inventory control activities, including investigating, analyzing, and resolving supplier quality issues.
Conduct audits, analyze defect trends, and lead continuous improvement projects related to supplier control.
Capture variance and investigate abnormal trends between SAP inventory data and physical counts to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
Collaborate daily with quality, production, shipping, and material departments to optimize inventory flow and accuracy.
Review product specifications and workflow analyses to guide production staff and ensure manufacturing quality standards are met.
What's Needed?
Experience with inventory management systems, particularly SAP and WMS.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes of issues.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross‑functional teams and suppliers.
Knowledge of quality assurance processes and statistical process control (SPC) methods.
Ability to develop and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and flow.
