Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of differentiated programming to meet the needs of students who demonstrate obvious potential for advanced academic work.
Collaborate with staff to implement gifted education strategies.
Be a strong team player responsible for the effective delivery of gifted education services.
Qualifications
Eligible to receive or already hold a Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement.
Strong foundation in gifted education, differentiated instruction, and staff collaboration.
Master’s degree in Gifted and Talented education or curriculum & instruction preferred.
Higher order thinking skills and familiarity with the needs of gifted students.
Compensation
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. A maximum of 18 years of prior contractual teaching experience may qualify for Step 19, per school board policy. Pay ranges from $44,550 to $75,279. The starting date for new teachers in the District is July 31, 2026.
