Are you passionate about inspiring students through movement, teamwork, and healthy living? St. Robert Catholic School is seeking an enthusiastic and faith-filled Physical Education teacher to join our community beginning August 2026.
This part-time opportunity (with potential for additional hours) is perfect for someone who loves working with children of all ages and is excited to make a lasting impact—from our youngest learners through 8th grade.
What You’ll Do:
Lead engaging Physical Education classes 3 days per week for Preschool–8th grade students
Foster a positive, active, and inclusive environment that promotes lifelong wellness
Design and implement lessons aligned with Diocesan curriculum standards
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Build a classroom culture rooted in high expectations, respect, and joy
What We’re Looking For:
A teaching philosophy that reflects the mission and values of Catholic education
Strong classroom leadership and organizational skills
A commitment to nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit
Required Qualifications:
Valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate
Practicing Catholic committed to the teachings of the Church
Willingness to partner with Jackson Public Schools as a shared-time teacher
Preferred Qualifications:
Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach
A heart for service and student-centered learning
Catechist Certification
Virtus – Protecting God’s Children
