Are you passionate about inspiring students through movement, teamwork, and healthy living? St. Robert Catholic School is seeking an enthusiastic and faith-filled Physical Education teacher to join our community beginning August 2026.
This is a part‑time position (with potential for additional hours) suitable for individuals who love working with children of all ages—from the youngest learners through 8th grade.
Responsibilities
Lead engaging Physical Education classes three days per week for Preschool to 8th grade students.
Foster a positive, active, and inclusive environment that promotes lifelong wellness.
Design and implement lessons aligned with Diocesan curriculum standards.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Build a classroom culture rooted in high expectations, respect, and joy.
Required Qualifications
Valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate.
Practicing Catholic committed to the teachings of the Church.
Willingness to partner with Jackson Public Schools as a shared‑time teacher.
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
Preferred Qualifications
Collaborative mindset and team‑oriented approach.
A heart for service and student‑centered learning.
Catechist Certification.
Virtus – Protecting God’s Children.
