Sunrise Landscape, Tampa, FL, United States
Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Specialist (Bi-Lingual Required)
Contract Role (8–10 Weeks, Field-Focused)
Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required and not negotiable, as you will need to hold interviews in the preferred candidate language. Candidates without this requirement will not be contacted or considered. We respectfully ask that you do not apply if you are not a bi‑lingual candidate.
For more than 40 years, Sunrise Landscape, a commercial landscape maintenance, design, and installation company, has been serving West Central Florida with a commitment to landscape and service excellence. We have an immediate need for a contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high‑volume, field‑based hiring of landscape crew members across our Southwest Florida operations.
This is a temporary assignment (8–10 weeks) working around 35 hours per week (during the day), focused on helping us quickly recruit, screen, and hire frontline field employees during a critical hiring period.
This is a hands‑on, field‑heavy recruiting role—success in this position requires comfort engaging directly with candidates in the field, supporting hiring events, and partnering closely with branch teams to fill open crew positions quickly.
This role is based in Tampa, FL, with regular travel to surrounding branches on the East to Central region of Florida (1–2 times per week as needed) to support field recruiting efforts, including hiring events, on‑site interviews, and walk‑in candidate flow.
What You Will Do:
Lead high‑volume recruiting for landscape crew member roles (maintenance & installation) across multiple branches
Open and manage requisitions, ensuring all field roles are posted and actively moving through the pipeline
Partner directly with branch leadership and field managers to understand immediate hiring needs and prioritize roles
Conduct on‑site and virtual interviews (primarily in Spanish and English) and make hiring decisions for frontline roles
Support and attend in‑person hiring events, job fairs, and walk‑in interview days
Actively source candidates through ATS, job boards, social media, and local outreach efforts in the community
Maintain a strong pipeline of ready‑to‑hire field candidates to meet ongoing labor demands
Coordinate interviews quickly and efficiently with a focus on speed to hire
Provide clear, weekly updates to hiring managers and Talent & People leadership on hiring progress
Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed
What You Bring to Us:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
5–7 years of experience in high‑volume recruiting, with a strong emphasis on field or frontline hiring
Proven experience recruiting for landscape, construction, or similar labor‑intensive roles
Experience managing 20–30+ open requisitions simultaneously
Strong ability to work in fast‑paced, operational environments with shifting priorities
Comfortable working in the field, at branch locations, and at hiring events
Excellent interviewing and decision‑making skills for frontline roles
High sense of urgency, strong organization, and clear communication
Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) required – not negotiable
Ability to build relationships quickly with field leaders and candidates
Compensation:
This is a temporary contract role paid on an hourly basis, working up to 35 hours per week for approximately 8–10 weeks. Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and shared in the questionnaire as you apply.
This position is not eligible for company benefits or bonus programs.
