
Litigation Paralegal

Position
Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our rapidly growing Foreclosure team. We are looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in litigation, with preference given to those who have worked in bankruptcy, foreclosure, or real estate litigation. Candidates must meet time‑sensitive deadlines, be well‑organized, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to provide outstanding customer service to clients.
Responsibilities
Provide service updates; client status updates; follow‑up on outstanding documents or services; coordinate with title contacts to complete tasks such as recordings and missing documents.
Draft and generate pleadings such as complaints, motions, notices of hearings, affidavits, defaults, notice of actions, and notice of publications.
Manage all administrative tasks of legal cases.
Perform tasks that include editing and preparing correspondence and legal documents, maintaining electronic files, arranging depositions, correspondence, and heavy calendaring.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a paralegal. Experience with default services in real estate, litigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy proceedings is preferred.
Superior organizational, research, and writing skills.
Detail oriented.
Ability to work individually and on a team.
Deadline driven.
Able to manage a heavy workload, multi‑task, and prioritize.
Works well under pressure.
Excellent time management skills.
Motivated to learn and advance.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Compensation and Benefits
